What My Daughter Thinks of Me

Aimee asked Little Girl the following questions about me. Any comments in brackets are Aimee's.

1. What is something dad always says to you?

I love me

2. What makes dad happy?

um, funny, that makes him happy, like: [funny face and sounds]

3. What makes dad sad?

u mmmmm, love him tomorrow? is that what makes him sad? what mommy? can you just tell me right now? i 'unna know what makes him sad?

4. How does your dad make you laugh?

pigs make me laugh right now.

5. What was your dad like as a child?
umma, of dancing, like a baby

6. How old is your dad?
five, like daniel

7. How tall is your dad?
five, or six. my dad is bigger than you. and i'm getting bigger like him.

8. What is his favorite thing to do?
draw picture for me

9. What does your dad do when you're not around?
laugh when i'm around, hiding outside, that could be really dangerous

10. If your dad becomes famous, what will it be for?
laughing at him

11. What is your dad really good at?
um, playing

12. What is your dad not very good at?
of drawing right now. he loves clicking right now, but he doesn't love drawing. [clicking is her word for typing at the computer]

13. What does your dad do for his job?
go to work at school

14. What's your dad's favorite food?
cereal

15. What makes you proud of your dad?
nothing, i don't know how to talk about liking

16. If your dad were a cartoon character, who would he be?
a bad guy girl, um costume guy with a monster costume and i could be the evil witch with a striped dress and a laughing sack and round cape and a spider on my hat and you could be a girl, a happy princess and i could just lie around and on halloween go trick or treating at church. can i have lunch?

17. What do you and your dad do together?
watch simpsons

18. How are you and your dad the same?
laughing at the tv

19. How are you and your dad different?
jumping and laughing and dancing

20. How do you know your dad loves you?
he loves me

21. Where is your dad's favorite place to go?
um, to the store.
