Thinking of Secily got me thinking about some of my other musician friends. One of the most talented and underrated artists I know is Joey Dempster. During the summer of 2003, he would hold a weekly song circle at his place. I was there most weeks. There were even a few weeks when I decided not to go, but they friends would call me up and tell me to get over there. That was a great period of creativity for everyone involved.I had lost touch with Joey until recently when he was in Nashville for some time. It was great to catch up.
Any way, here is some of his music. "Joy," "Gravity," and "Shooting Stars" are my favorites.
