Opera was never big in our house growing up. In fact, my musical education was mostly made up of The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, The Rolling Stones, Creedence Clearwater Revival, CSN&Y and other rock groups of the 60s and 70s. However, I became a huge fan of U2 right before I turned 15 (thanks Steve, wherever you are). It was about a year after Achtung Baby! came out and I fell in love with this amazing band. When the Passengers album came out, I was amazed at the beauty of Pavarotti's solo in "Miss Sarajevo." Each of these performances is from one of the many "Pavarotti and Friends" specials from Modena, Italy.
